About Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 Compatibility

Windows Vista has some data access issues that are not compatible with Endicia DAZzle 9.2.x or earlier versions when User Account Control (UAC) is enabled. DAZzle version 13.3 and later are Windows 8 compatible.

You may lose data if you:

Currently have installed any version of DAZzle that precedes DAZzle Version 9.3.x (To verify your version of DAZzle, select Help > About....)
In Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, your User Account Control (UAC) is enabled.

To resolve this issue, you may do either of the following:

Disable UAC in Windows Vista,Windows 7, or Windows 8.
Enable UAC in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, use DAZzle Version 9.3.01 or higher, and specify a Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Window 8 compatibility setting for your DAZzle data.

To set up Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 Compatibility for DAZzle, select File > Vista Compatible and follow the self-documented dialog boxes.

If the File > Vista Compatible menu option is not available, one of the following may apply:

Your Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 Compatible setup for DAZzle 9.3.01 or a newer version has already been completed.
You do not have DAZzle 9.3.01 or a newer version.
